It’s been a year (nearly to the day) since any news circulated concerning the possible addition of a new utility vehicle to the Audi lineup beneath the Q3, but now new hope has been given for small CUV fans.
According to a conversation between an unnamed Audi insider and WhatCar, the German automaker suggested that the A1 platform could potentially be utilized as the foundation for a Q1 – but not in the near future.
Based on the conversation it seemed clear that if the Q1 were to be added to the lineup, it would not be any time soon – so don’t expect to see a shiny new Q1 in the next year or two waiting for you at your local Audi dealer.
