This car can outperform an M1. It can even be compared to an M3 or a Cayman S. In this regard it is actually a bargain. There are very few cars out there that can offer this level of performance with practicality. Considering that the Audi RS3 will smoke the Evo MR,a car that can easily top 40k, both in terms of performance and refinement, put it in a class by itself. This is an awesome car, and if it sold in the US for around 50k, it would be the best car you could buy for that amount. None of you really get it… This car can outperform an M1. Look at VW R32 vehicle sales compared to STi and Evolution sales. The car might have been well balanced but the refinement couldn't make up for the lack of performance and the premium price tag, I think VW knew this as well. The RS3 might offer more than the R32 but we all know what's under the fancy sheet metal and Audi badges. The RS3 would sell there is no mistaking that, but would it be worth it for Audi? I doubt it.
