The “French fellow” is none other than the world famous, Belgian race car driver, Jacky Ickx. (He does indeed speak French, which is one of the languages spoken in Belgium. He also speaks English.) He won LeMans 6 times, including a famous 1969 win in the Gulf Ford GT40. In addition to sports car/endurance racing, he also raced in Formula 1, CanAm and rally racing (mainly in Africa). His duaghter, Vanina, is also a sports car driver.

Oh la la ! La nouvelle Audi, c’est formidable ! Je suis un BMW fanatique d’habitude, mais c’était un des meilleur notes de moteur que j’ai jamais entendu. Wow. That makes me want to go out and buy one right now. Only one problem: no money.

Video was OK. I personally think they should’ve stayed with the 6 cyclinder turbos and shaved off a couple pounds.
