An Audi spokesperson has all but confirmed the company will show its new S6 performance sedan at the in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. “That is probably correct,” a representative told Inside Line regarding the rumor. The spokesperson confirmed that the car would have around 420 horsepower. On Wednesday, we reported that the forthcoming S6 would come with a Lamborghini-sourced V10 engine — a de-tuned version of the same power-plant used in the new Audi S8. Audi recently introduced is RS4 sedan, which will be available to U.S. customers. However, the spokesperson said no other RS vehicles were planned for the United States, confirming yesterday’s report that the RS4 wagon would be Europe-only.
