Audi may be planning to build a high-performance version of its A8 luxury sedan with a powerful TDI diesel motor, according to a report in Blogo.it‘s automotive section. According to the Italian website, the car — called RS8 — will use the same TDI engine as the highly successful Audi R10 TDI race car. Output may be slightly detuned from the R10′s 650 horsepower. Further details were not available.
