Yea, I have to side with Renton on this one. RWD is certainly more fun and satisfying to drive. Though I usually feel more assured to push a car to its limits with the Quattro. Dunno about AWD systems that has more rear wheel bias though. Haven’t got a chance to try one yet.

I’ll admit defeat for us. You are the bigger manufacter spec nerd. Stop arguing on the internet cause you make a complete ass of yourself. For example, “Renton–It does rain in Texas. 300 hp turbo RWD in the rain sux vs AWD.” I dont think renton was arguing its all weather capabilities, but the beast it is. I’ll hate ferrari forever cause it isn’t capable as an AWD car is in the rain.

gyourdumb — I never mind driving in the rain in high horsepower RWD cars. Its raining so you have to be careful. They drive F1 cars in the rain. Never a problem. You have to have good tires though.

RWD is so much more fun and satisfying than AWD. I’ve had both. No contest.

Sorry to hear they won’t build it.. but hopefully this makes room in Audi’s US lineup for a slightly roomier, similarly styled coupe.. the A3 3-door! With the same engines, the A3 would be a more comparable rival to the BMW 1-series anyway. Unfortunately, this may also mean the Scirocco will end up with this roofline

agreed. Although I like the Z4 coupe, and love the shooting break, I don’t think it would have done much to attract buyers that wouldn’t otherwise buy a car from that brand.

As huge fan of three-door hatches, in smaller automobiles (starting with one of my MGB-GT’s), I liked what Audi was touting versus BMW, and others. Audi simply has the best interiors/dashboards in the world.
