Hi, does anyone have a photo and stats on the new Holden L76 6.0, not the 2005 HSV 6.0L.
Every 2006 Holden car for sale that has a photo of the engine has a 3.6L. Maybe nobody wants to sell a car with the new 6.0L.

My personal opinion is that it looks great. However, I think that if a Lotus Super7 and an Elise got together this is what they’de produce. Still, a good looking car.

I don’t see why anyone’s complaining about the amount of power it produces. It’s a hefty amount of horsepower, there’s no doubt about that, and the fact that it’s in such a light car makes the experience that much better. It’s a modern Clubman – you don’t need any more power than it already has.

Although, it does strike me as a bit weird that this car retains the LS1 V8 engine, when emission regulations here in Australia forced Holden to swap from the LS1 to the larger 6.0L L76 engine.

Super light car, and monster torque, still I can’t help but think the car is disappointment. 5.7 liters for that kind of performance? You can get an LS7 that has the same displacement, comparable torque, and a ton more horsepower. Doesn’t make sense. I’m thinking it’s a typo.

holy**** 2400lbs that is soooo nice :drool: but v8 that can only produce 325hp?? Wtf. Also why so much torque when your car is already so light. the whole car is a wind stopper whoever designed this is stupid, i hope they tested this car in the wind tunnel!! uglyest car ever ill take a kia over this.

Considering the limited quantity run and the -fairly- classic lines (I could do without the projector head lights) it doesn’t seem that bad to someone who’s got the extra hundred grand laying around. 425ft lbs of torque and 2400lbs, sounds like it’s got some get up and be gone. Although I can think of many other cars I’d buy at that range and not even have to consider this thing. Ever. If 100 of them sell, that’s just 100 less people in the market for a car I’d want.

i love how it says “5.7 alloy v8″ like an alloy engine is such a big deal anymore? The car has some interesting looks, it will sell ok. I wonder what it looks like without the fancy camera angles.
