lol If the Ford GT was still in production I highly doubt there’d be an incentive on that. Cars like the Ford GT, Corvette and Dodge Viper are usually always excluded in the manufacturer’s incentive programs. It’s always in the fine print. Although this is the first time I’ve heard any of the domestics offerring price incentives on performance vehicles.

“Ford Mustang Bullitt — which adds a sportier suspension and engine upgrades to the standard GT model — can be had with up to $2,500 cash back. That means that the $3,310 Bullitt option will only cost buyers $810….” I’m not a Mustang fan nor am I in the market to buy one. However if I was then this would be enough of an incentive for me to get one.

I agree, only a 100% discount would get me into a Chrysler product. The incentives are across the board because no one’s buying anything because everyone is scared about a recession. How is this news? Doesn’t everyone already know this?

GM shouldn’t need to add much incentives to get people to buy their vehicles. I think most Americans put GM on the top of their list when it comes time to buy a new car. And since Americans would rather buy GM, then it puts Ford and Chrysler into a really bad position. They’ll be giving away the farm just to get people to buy their crap.

The incentives are across the board…no matter if you buy the Foose marked up edition or the strippy STX model…which for a new F150 at 20k is quite a truck for the money. The Foose farse is priced way way to high…and Foose makes the money. Oh and by the way…Honda has $4500 dealer cash on the Ridgeline pickup right now…sooo its a bad market all around for trucks and SUV’s. This article is just stanted by the author…not a Ford fan…”interestingly enough….etc etc.. GM put $10000 dealer cash and rebates on the SSR pickup a few years ago to clear them out…so the line that specialty vehicles don’t get incentives are bogus.

How generous of Ford to offer $4500 discount on $55,000 truck. After all discounting there is at least $15,000 profit for them. If they sell one of those, Honda has to sell 30 Fits to make that much. The funny part is that Honda still makes money and Ford bleeds it.

First of all do not confuse the GT40 which was a track only race car never produced for anyone with the Ford GT which is the road going supercar we all know of. Also I cannot imagine what sort of discount they would give on it for an April incentive but I am sure it is more than any of us here can afford to blow on a ride.
