GM has it’s glitches, this won’t be one of them. If you are going to wait, wait a year not four. Otherwise, you are just contradicting yourself saying you want one but you’ll wait.

GM needs this car to “go off without a hitch” and so they are not going to pull the same crap that did in the 1980s and much of the 1990s. The Camaro is going to be a great car for early adopters.

Just be mindful of the warranty and learn to fix it yourself. I know people who do not have the slightest idea how to add water to the radiator or check their own oil. The only indestructible car is a VG car. Everything else needs repairs and services sooner or later.
