Bentley has unveiled its most powerful factory production car ever, the 600-horsepower Continental GT Speed. The new car possesses 15 percent more power, or 50 horsepower, over the standard Continental GT’s twin-turbo W12 engine. Both models feature mildly revised styling and suspension tuning.
The Speed recalls a Bentley name of yore that distinguished more powerful Bentleys from the standard models. Not only does the Speed promise better acceleration, but Bentley claims that its top speed is 203 mph, an increase over the 198 of the standard model. Bentley also publishes a 4.3 second 0-60 mph sprint for the Speed.

Exterior revisions are subtle, but include a more upright grille aimed at better airflow. Underneath, both the Speed and regular model get a lightened suspension – an 80 pound weight reduction – and new shock absorbers.

Both the Speed and the standard Continental GT get 20-inch wheels, although the Speed’s are half an inch wider and come wrapped grippy Pirelli P-Zero tires. The Speed has its own steering tuning, more aggressive suspension settings and stiffer anti-roll bars.
