Bentley is widely regarded as one of the finest automakers on the planet, but today’s news reminds us once again that nobody’s perfect. The now Volkswagen -owned automaker from Crewe has announced the recall of 13,420 vehicles.
The recall is due to a faulty fuel filter. Bentley discovered that road salt can corrode the filter’s surface, which could ultimately lead to a fuel leak and the possibility of a fire.
The recall affects all Bentley Continental GT , Continental GT Speed, Continental Flying Spur, and Continental GTC vehicles built between 2004 and 2008.
Bentley ’s last recall was about a year ago for faulty wheel bolts used on the Arnage sedan.
