#1,
Are you saying yours is boring, or the new one, or both?

I think it’s beautiful. Wish I could afford one, but that’s just too much new. Maybe 2-3 years old. Guess I’ll keep searching for a low-mileage 2004 325Ci. Gotta have one. Everytime I see one on the road, I gawk. Perfectly proportioned.

snohprexd, The dollar loses value because it is fiat currency. (Not tied to anything of real value, like gold.) The blame goes to Nixon and every President and Congress since for not putting us back on the gold standard.

hahah leather and metallic paint are extras, so for 40,600 you get basically a body, engine, wheels, and a crappy radio. people will probably get the premium package, +2,450, comfort access (geez) another +500, metallic paint +475, sports package (surpised its $100, why not make it standard if its so cheap) +100……aand other options that 80% of bmw buyers get including auto tranny +1275, paddle shifters +100, and heated front seats +500, navigation +2100.

enthusiast 335i = 44,125
non enthusiast 335i = 48,100

snohprexd, BMW’s price increase has nothing to do with Bush, U.S. economic policy, or currency exchange rates (not that you know anything about those subjects). It’s called taking advantage of market demand for all-new models. But then again, an insightful comment on an auto maker’s pricing decisions shouldn’t be expected from someone who can’t spell.

The price increase may be due to the 1-series moving in to take its place. Expect a top of the line 1 to be whe the old 325 started.

just guessing………

130i M-Sport mmmmmmmmm… drool !!!!

You start with a minimum of $35k and leather is a $1500 upcharge? At that base price, leather should be standard.

Yeah, GSH’s post is right-on – 44-48k PLUS TT and L = more like 50k-54k out the door. For that kind of money I could buy a 10k mi 645ci instead of this mini-645ci replica car. I just dont like this final design, especially from the back.

And agreed, its retarded times 5 that they offer options costing $100 on a car of this price – what’s next, a $15 option to wash the car off before the waiting customer officially takes delivery? Just not what you’d expect from such a “high-end” company…

I have three BMWs and I don’t like any of the new designs. I find the M6 the least offensive.

M3, X5 and E46 are all classics

Time to move on…

The 300 HP is alluring, but a nice package would be the 330CI with the new 255HP standard engine that BMW has been putting in the 2006 four door 330I. Will that option be available or will they be putting the 235HP engine in the 330CI standard package? Why haven’t the full details on the 2007-08 BMW 330CI been posted on BMW’s web site if what we read here is factual?

I can’t believe they still want a thousand bucks for power seats in the 328(35 large!). Ah well, at least they’ve made Xenons standard.
