BMW’s ‘Individual’ program will come to the United States this fall, the automaker said in an announcement to dealers. In November 2005, we told you about rumors of the customization program coming stateside in 2006. Initially, Individual will be offered on the 7-Series only. Among the custom packages will be derivatives of the 7-Series Exclusive Edition packages unveiled in Germany last week.

It’s too bad we have not been able to get this here. If you check it out on the Euro sites, you can get some very nice interior colors.
I don’t see what the big deal is, just let folks order what they want.

Land Rover has someting similar for Range Rovers called autobiography editions. They are only avaliable in the UK and europe though. I wish they would offer them here.

I thought BMW Individual has been available in Canada for years already? I’ve seen dealers place orders for BMW Individual M3’s with special paint and interior combinations.
