They did a great job “japping up” the 3 series!! Boring!
Its interesting how BMWs look like old SAABs, and SAABS are trying to look like BMWS, and the Japanese brands still have their heads up there ass!

They should add turbos to the V8 since the V10 is getting them, would add power and emissions and such.

I agree with Z06. The current E90’s tail lamps are ugly. They remind me of the regular sedan. The E90 should have its own.

C63 AMG FTW. This car is great, although you’re so right when you say that it looks like a cheap jap. The previous model had, correction, has, more presence than this one.

Doesn’t look that way to me. Even under the tape, you can see they angle at the trunk, like the current ones do. That’s the part that always looked bad. Reminds me of the previous generation Civic’s tailamps.

I like the rear of the 3 series coupe/M3. My problem with the M3 is the front, it’s too low in the front compared to the back. It kinda droops in the front making it look disproportional.

I don’t know about the 4-door but a guy in my neighborhood has a new M3 coupe. After having seen it driving around in person, I can tell you in all honesty……….the coupe has no presence at all IMO it just looked like a bloated 3 series. To make matters worse it’s white so that doesn’t help it case.

The previous generation was MUCH better looking.

If they’re smart, they’ll throw the current sedan’s taillamps in the garbage and start over. They really look bad. I don’t know why they don’t just use the coupe’s taillamps which look fine.

I think they took to much masking tape from the store room when they camouflaged the rear lights and decided not to throw it away
Anyway, from the looks of it, it’s more a “rearlift” than a facelift…

why do they STILL put black tape over the logo of the car? we know it’s a BMW, we know the shape, design, looks whatever- what is the purpose of putting that tape? seriously
