Wow original rumors were as high as $80K when the news of the V8 came out, so this good news.
Still prefer ’07, its lighter smaller and more fun too drive.
RS4 is very fast, but I could not get it to rotate for the life of me. Kills all fun and thrill on twistys.

Poisonous Cinquecento: EU autos don’t last more than 5 years where I’m at with the exception of maybe the C Class but that’s because they sold so many of them they probably got all the bugs sorted out after a few years.

A sedan version of the M3 will be great. I drove my cousins new M3 which he ordered 8 months before it was avaliable all over Italy just last month and that thing was incredible. The Sedan will not be as great as the coupe but still a nice choice for someone who prefers 4 doors over 2. I just don’t see why the coupe will cost more when a 4 doors means more parts and more assembly time.

Once again poisonous whatever – you demonstrate your stupidity with incredible clarity.

I’ve owned numerous American cars over the years, and on average, I kept them for about 7 years, and when I sold them they still had many years and miles left in them. Right now I have a 10 year old Suburban with 170k miles, and it will likely keep going for another 10 years and 400k miles. My ’02 Z06 is now 6 years old, and I’ve had virtually no problems with it since I bought it new. And I drive it very hard, including track time.

wth!?!!?…56k car and leather is still an option…when i bought an e46 m3 and paid extra for leather i thought that was crazy…but this is gettin out of control!! they should offer 19s as only option in this car! in this price range, ill take da base P over this anyday

Much less expensive than I thought! I was expecting $65k too. Looks like Lexus just made a major mistake with the pricing on their IS-F. Who would choose an IS-F over an M3 and pay MORE for it, other than the most fanatical rice lovers?

The only thing that bugs me are all the pricey option packages. BMW always does this. Nicely equipped, the sedan ends up at $63k, or $65k fully loaded. There are lots of options that I would want to have, that should be standard on this car, so the base price is a bit of smoke and mirrors.

I think the pricing on the CTS-V will be close to $65k, but will only come fully loaded, or only one or two minor options. So at first glance, it will look like the M3 is cheaper on a base price, but when you compare features and equipment, they will be priced similar.

I would, there is nothing much you can buy with that spec that isnt naturally non aspired. M is a badge you wear with pride and trust…Cadillac is a badge you were with cheap gold chain and fake gold teeth…

American cars are made to be changed every 2 years, EU cars are kept for 7-8 years…. Sometimes more…

Why digital compass mirror? Does BMW believe its own navigation system? I could not possibly driven this machinery, but last year’s 335 coupe my friend lets me drive is exquisite machinery (with merely 300 hp). You can start moving in 3rd gear on ice. Unbelievable.

That is actually pretty cheap for a sweet [german] car like that. CTS-V will be even cheaper though, and just as powerful.

I bet the price is lower because BMW is planning on selling many more of them than before, so they know they would be profitable even if they make it 50k even

That price is much better than I expected. I thought it would be around $65,000 base price. Although I’m guessing this will go for well above sticker price when it first hits dealers. If I bought one, I would probably buy the sedan in alpine white with a manual transmission. I know I’m the minority here, but I actually like the sedan more.
