The bad thing about the xi is the higher ride height and the wobbly suspension (no sport suspension available). Fixable via aftermarket upgrades though.

Also there is extra weight. Despite that BMW claims the 335xi will get to 60 faster than the 335i, certainly due to better traction. Contrast that with the 328xi vs. 328i where the 328i has significantly better acceleration.

carlord the difference is bmw has always been the self proclaimed kings of rear wheel drive and have handed every single awd car their asses, i do not object to awd i want it in the next cts, but i guess the 3 is no longer what it used to be(light)the 1 will cover that arena for the “purists”.

Nice, this car is the xxxxing BEST. My dad just got one in June, such a blast, such a perfect car. It’s practical, what with usable rear seats and a usable trunk, it handles like a precision tool, it has get up and go from ANY spot on the tach, and the brakes are so easy to modulate, they operate with an forceful fluidity which is hard to match. And it looks so damn stunning.

ah, the 335xi coupe is not the first time a bmw 3 series coupe has been offered with all wheel drive….the 328xi was…and that model has been out for a while now

I love BMW’s, I love turbos, and I love AWD. How can you go wrong with this set up? Everyone is going to AWD, its where its at. Ford is going to make most of their models AWD, Honda, Acura, among others. MB, and Audi already have it many of their cars. Granted if you live in an area that does not need this its still great to have for handling, and handling in the rain. Do you bach at the 911 S4? Audi RS4? Skyline? WRX? EVO? All great AWD sport cars.

This way when you get in an accident with a Kia, the Kia driver can laugh at you while you die in your overpriced inferiorly engineered german taxi cab with a maintenance prone AWD system.

Not that you’ll care much after you die at the hands of a Kia.

lets hope it doesnt rank as poorly in crash testing as the 5 series. Then again maybe a driver can use the new sure footing to help avoid an accident.
