The fun of open air but without my neck getting sunburned. The Z4 is just a little too.. little for me. As for variants, hey just go ahead and make them, and if people don't want them then they just get marked down when they don't sell. A friend just got a few thousand bucks off a truck cause it was the ugliest blue I've ever seen. But if you like blue then super. I have a Corvette and love targa tops. Perhaps BMW is trying to cross the open-air motoring of the Z4 with the cargo capacity, however small, of the sportback coupe, but the added weight these tops usually add counters 'low weight' buyers of these type of cars are looking for. Once again, one car shouldn't be bastardized to gleen a few more sales, ala MiataMX5 hardtop thingy... Don’t think this t-top move is very good.

It's a shame they're pouring so much into variants of this less-than-dynamic competitor to Porsche. (It has failed to beat Porsche as a coupe and roadster.)
