All-wheel steering and active roll stabilization will help the large coupe carve through corners.
BMW has released a detailed teaser video for the upcoming 8 Series Coupe.
The segment includes highlight commentary from a few of BMW's top engineers, outlining many of the advanced chassis technologies and engine specs.
The sizable coupe will get a bit of help from standard all-wheel steering and all-wheel drive, with an electronically controlled rear differential.
The coupe is promoted as nimble and engaging to drive, yet comfortable for long-haul grand touring.
Drivers will enjoy 530 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque from the upgraded V8, an increase of 70 horsepower and 74 pound-feet, but the video does not identify which particular engine is found under the hood.
The German automaker describes the 8 Series as a "gentleman's racer" that "never overburdens you in everyday life."
