I think it needs to be clarified on this thread that that car in the picture is NOT the car in question, it is as Wilson said the GM EV1 and bears no precedent on what the actual vehicle will look like.

150 million Euros (200 mil USD) will produce prototype. If it is successful it will be sold to any number of European manufacturers. Pininfarina will make it look very attaractive: that what they do best.
