the thing i love most is how bowell has “unveiled” so recently. LLN is a fair bit slow on this one, this was at the Melbourne International Motor Show way back in March. Still better late than never i suppose

Wow, those proportions are all off. There are some interesting design cues, but they’re horribly arranged. The rest of the design is pretty derivative. I agree the front end is kinda sexy though. The RSX taillights and modest Toyota engine sure won’t be selling points, neither will that price tag. If that’s $132,000 Australian Dollars that roughly translates to apx. $85,000 USD, still way overpriced for a home made Japanese Frankenstein.

buy a used MR2 spyder, rip out the 4cyl and drop in the toyota V6 and you will have this car for a lot less then a 132,000, plus it wont look like a cross between a fiero and an RSX

I like the front end design. Back end … Yuck.

With a little more work on the styling this could be a nice car. Esp. if the performance numbers hold true and the price doesn’t go up.

Would need to see the interior to make a final call though.

I gotta agree with everyone about the back end. I especially don’t like the fact that the rear bodywork only extends down to the (rather highly placed and overly exposed) exhaust and then disappears. Given that a good number of manufacturers are now integrating the exhaust with the rear bodywork it just makes the car look unfinished.

hahahaha after bashing its looks, i read what LLN has to say…… who is going to pay $132,000 for a toyota V6, and it better have some really low gearing to hit a 4 sec. 0-60 time cause i just dont see it happening, i guess the only upside is its rearview camera so you wont have to see eye to eye everyone thats barfing at the ugly-mobile

Yep, those rear lights are indeed from the RSX/Integra, and the interior is pure Toyota Camry. I have no idea who’d pay that much for a car made from parts of other cars.

That is a truly hideous rear end. Are those taillights sourced from the late RSX? Front end design is solid, though xenons would be a nice touch. An interesting alternative, that’s for sure.
