German tuner Brabus has unveiled an extensive customization program for the 2007 Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan that includes an engine upgrade kit to boost horsepower on the 6.2-liter V12 engine to 730 horsepower, according to Edmunds. Steven Beaty, president of Brabus North America, said four different performance packages available for the S-Class are expected to range in price from $15,000 to $20,000 for the wheels and body kit to $30,000 to $50,000 for the upgrade to 730 horsepower with the Brabus V12 S Biturbo engine. Beaty says prices will be finalized after Mercedes-Benz announces its pricing on the S-Class, which is set to make its debut in the U.S. market in February.
