For all those who would like to see the monarchy skip Charles and go to the eldest son,there is ample evidence that William wants anything but.William refuses public appearances without his dad,refused to host his own birthday party,and has asked the Queen to delay handing him formal titles so he may remain as ‘William Wales’.Will has an aversion to the media bordering on pathological.He walked into a bar with his socks to mock strict regulations.HE SHOPS FOR HIS OWN GROCERIES AT TESCO while attending University at St Andrews.Charles has told him he is the laziest person on earth.William likes his space and freedom and relaxes in crumpled shirts and sweaters with holes in them.He like hanging out with his friends,talking,drinking,and “whatever”.Wills views himself as a “country boy” at heart (to the chagrin of Diana).Also he has bemoaned to his friends “why would anyone want him?”My guess would be that a lot of people have gaping-maw holes in their personalities that require bolstering.

Ahh, the 9 year olds are back at their keyboards and invading LLN, apparently bored of wet t-shirt sites and downloading Cheetah Girls mp3’s.
Typically I like to wait to judge a cars looks until I actually see one in person. But VW’s reputation goes before it in such a way that this design underwhelms. Though disguised, you can tell that there is nothing really ground breaking. not a crime against car design, but now worthy of an award either.

This looks pretty much like all the other small SUVs out there. Ho-hum.

VW should bring back the old, reliable breadloaf VW bus (’72-’79). Put a modern VW diesel engine in it, along with better insulation and soundproofing, good heating & AC. They’d sell millions.

It’s a shame Volkswagen can’t build cars that bear more than a vague resemblence to their sketches. The sketch for the Golf also looked promising but they just can’t (or won’t) deliver on vision their designers put on paper.

I think I am one of the few that will actually wait until I see the model with no disquises, etc before making some ugly/fugly remark. The purpose of the disquise is to hide and in some cases alter the true look of the vehicle. I’m sure once the front and rear are seen it will look quite a bit different. Knowing VW it will start in the low 20’s and max out around 30K.

I don’t see any of the COncept A in this spy shot, however I do think this SUV looks good, like a 3/4s scale Toureag. If it is priced right and VW can offer a diesel here in the states, I would consider one.
