You know that happen to me once, I picked up a cool looking set wheels and tires for a Vett. that i had, the tires were rated for 110mph, took the car out to Fontana Speedway, up in the high banks “BOOM” rear tire blows out, made it out safe, car was O.K., the track-tracker that they put in your car says I was doing 156mph before the blow out, ever since then I now use track purpose tires, a Road Corse set and a Drag set, that’s how I get my BIG GUNS, I can do Nascar pittstops, ha,ha,ha.

Great. I hope they go bankrupt altogether. No one wants their tires to shred at highway speeds because some d!ckhead decided to use cheaper glue…

I guess LLN likes the term “sign of the times”.
but i guess it works. But ya im pretty sure its the all-seasons that are mostly affected. others aren’t made as often so they shouldn’t be as affected.

My guess is it’s just their OEM tire production, which would be their all-season Potenza, Turanza, Insignia, etc model tires. It should not affect the summer and winter tire production because they are not OEM tires on any vehicle (at least that I know of).

Is there Drag tire also being cut-back or only passenger??? Any one with more info…
