Bugatti teases Divo 'Built for Corners' ahead of debut

The $5.8-million car will be formally unveiled on Friday during Monterey Car Week.

Bugatti has released a few last-minute teasers for the Divo days before the full reveal.

The posts include an image of the car covered in a blue shroud and a video highlighting the #BuiltforCorners theme.

The shrouded image suggests the Divo's rear wing will be less extreme than that of the Vision Gran Turismo, while the body's shifted side-line will help distinguish the limited-edition car from the Chiron.

The Divo has been crafted by Bugatti's renewed coachbuilding unit. The team has apparently focused on creating a distinct design language and greatly enhancing the Chiron's cornering abilities via much higher downforce.

Only 40 examples will be produced, each starting at a whopping $5.8 million.

Bugatti will live-stream the Divo unveiling event on its Facebook page Friday 11:20 AM PDT.
