Buick had the small-yet-vocal community of wagon enthusiasts in the U.S. more than excited when it let our spies capture images of a seemingly production-intent Regal Wagon in May, but now it seems Buick has had a change of heart.
Buick has been rumored to be working on as many as three different variants of its popular Regal sedan, including a Wagon which we previously spied, but when an unnamed source at Buick was asked about the Regal Wagon by folks at Inside Line, the source replied, “Absolutely not,” in regard’s to the possibility of a production wagon, adding, “There is no Regal Wagon in our future plans.”
The news will no doubt receive harsh criticism from the often vocal wagon-backers, but there is still hope for coupe or convertible variants for those seeking something other than a standard sedan.
