General Motors has announced the shipment of the first 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe models this week from its quality-leading Lansing Grand River manufacturing facility.
Leftlane spoke with GM’s Nick Twork earlier today concerning the shipment of the hotly anticipated CTS Coupe, and Twork said that the 2011 Coupe was initially scheduled for an early August shipment. Twork said that the Lansing Grand River plant – which topped all U.S. plants in the 2010 J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Survey – managed to prepare ahead of schedule, and was eager to begin production.
The CTS Coupe marks the third variant of the CTS line, following the Sedan and Wagon versions, all of which are still produced at the same Lansing Grand River manufacturing facility.
Twork also confirmed to Leftlane that the CTS-V Coupe will begin shipping to dealers “very shortly,” likely before the close of July.
