In response to consumer demand, Cadillac says that it will offer 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in both summer and all-season rubber on some members of its 2011 CTS range. The tires, Goodyear Eagle RS-A2s, use carbon fiber in their sidewalls for added stiffness.

Previously, Cadillac had only offered its CTS with summer tires when ordered with 19-inch alloy wheels. Leftlane sampled a CTS Sport Wagon with the summer tires and, while we appreciated their handling traction, we managed to get the wagon stuck on damp grass during a photo shoot.

The 19-inch all-season Goodyear Eagle RS-A2 tires will be available for $850 over the price of the CTS’ standard 18-inch wheels on CTS sedan and wagon models, but not on the automaker’s new two-door coupe.
