JM, I'm all over things like headlight washers and heated seats, front AND rear, and a heated steering wheel. A car can still be a hairy-knuckled manly-man's car like 90% of the guys on here want, apparently, but they can still have the nice little touches like those as options, as far as I'm concerned anyway. It could be that I live in MN with it's #^^!'n 6+ months of sloppy winter a year, but headlight washers should be standard equipment in my opinion. You seriously lose half your visibility with crusty, dirty headlights.

This car is the next Chrysler 300 - a fresh design the first 2 years then it gets played out quickly because every one you see is blinged out to the point of tackiness.

nismoKen- I highly doubt a G37 will lose because: it has more hp, revs higher, and in multiple competitions (motor trend, car and driver, insideline.com, road & track) the G35 sedan (not even a G37) has outperformed the CTS V6 DI sedan in all areas. If the sedans and coupes are directly relatable the G will emerge victoriously yet again over the CTS. The CTS is a fine handler I know (I drive a VQHR car yet work for Caddy) but the G is better still when it comes to handling or acceleration numbers. Come on NismoKen, this should all be obvious stuff here.

Don't get me wrong now though, the 09' CTS is by far away the best automobile GM has ever come out with, easily.

This will be a nice coupe for the older retired crowd. However, I agree that the G37 will have no problem outrunning and outhandling this coupe. Also, in my opinion, the G37 looks more aggresive and balanced. The Cadillac looks okay, but really ackward. Either way, I don't see anyone shopping for a G37 or 3 series, cross shopping it with this.

Why did they bother? Couldn't they have just slapped a padded vinyl roof on the new Camaro and called it a day? And am I the only one who thinks from the side it looks like a first gen AMC AMX?

A real man's car is faster, I don't think a G37 would have any problem outhandling or outrunning this coupe, say what you may about it's looks! The S5 is one slick looking car too and the interior, like most Audi's, is extremely hard to beat.

I never liked the G37 coupe's evolution from the G35 coupe. It lacks a properly solid feel. From a distance the G37 just looks wrong. Not glaringly wrong, unlike the GT-R35 (Robo-grouper), but it isn't as attractive as I thought it would be.

The CTS Coupe looks bold muscular, masculine. Like a beefy athlete in a business suit.

The G37 looks like a butch dike in a cocktail dress. She has a nice figure but it just doesn't look right. The G35 coupe would be the same dike in a pantsuit. She looks attractive that way.

The CTS Coupe (CTC?) is simply the continuation of a great style that has only improved.

From the side it looks like a G37 with a bad Krispy Kreme addiction. I pity anyone who has to sit in the holding cell behind the front seats. Of course, people who drive these don't have more than one adult friend anyway.

Great looking car. It makes the G37 Coupe look ugly by comparison (and that's a decent looking car).

I'm glad to see this car is still on path to production.

Borat, be serious. They let Saturn go 20 years without making a nickel. Besides you just know the customer who walks in to look at one of these is going to drive out in a Cobalt. It's win-win I tell you.

If GM wants to survive, it needs to be in mass market not niche market. How many of those models Cadillac is planning to sell and what its break even point? Is there break even point on development? As an investor (taxpayer) I would love to know that. And what will happen when like most other models GM only will loose money? Who will get fired?

This is better looking than anything with which it competes ... a real man's car ... the G37 is a pussymobile.

The interior of this car SMOKES everything else, bar none. Too bad it's another year before we can have one.

Agreed idrin--, a G37 is hard to beat. A V coupe of course is a different story. I wonder how a regular C6 Vette would run up against a V coupe. More horsepower, more weight but it have to be close I'd think. Agreed with Veda as well on the timing, they need to get this thing out already.

We just got our V, awesome car. The only thing I see wrong is that the coupe is said to weigh just as much as the sedan, the sedan is HEAVY. I'd love to see a tuner take one and do a "black" series like the MBs. Shed 6-700 lbs = monster.

I don't think i like this. The g37 sounds like a better option unless they come out with a V!

Cool car, glad many of the concept designs are carrying through. At first glance I thought the area above the rear wheels was a little bit too chunky but it's grown on me now, I bet it will look even better in person. I recently got to drive a new CTS V sedan- Wow! That thing has some sick power going, can't wait for the V coupe now.

GM will never shed Cadillac. The current CTS is one of the best looking and well designed vehicles in and out on the road right now. This couple looks amazing. A V version of this would just be sick!
