in general, I do respect the 'save the planet' approach... but truthfully, when i buy a car, I don't sit in a dealership and think "Hmmmm, will my garden be safe with this thing in my driveway? Will the grass lose its green?" So I don't really care if it'll be more efficient towards the planet, as long as it satisfies my driving needs and is efficient for me, and yes, if I can save a euro or two on gas... count me in. But definitely GM, you're well on your way with this... congrats, lets hope its as beautiful as your CTS-V.

BTW where is NMOFGM's comment? *looks around*

Great car. I just wish Lincoln gave the green light to the MKR with 400 horses and state of the art technology. Either way Lincoln needs a coupe bad too compete with Cadillac and every other make.

Is the CTS coupe actually going to be produced? Seems like we've been hearing about this for a long time and it never appears in the showroom.

The worst type of feces is the type you take in a GM product. GM has no money to develope future products. This strike is going to bankrupt them, and the stupid UAW workers will be out of a job. FECES!! Smells so bad taken in a Caddy."

???? is this 1115 on acid? what the hell are you talking about? What strike? The UAW isn't on strike PD. Do you really honestly think GM is really going to go out of business? Not going to happen buddy. GM will live on as will Ford. Chrysler, eh. Who cares as they just are way to far behind. But if you can't give GM credit for developing and putting out some very nice vehicles, you are just as biased and small minded as NMOFGM and 1115.

I have seen some idiotic stuff posted on here, but this about takes it. Good job PD for that!

This will be one speedy mobile if they put it more toward performance than the Volt. Saw on Today show that the Volt really takes off due to electric motor. Screw the miles driven. Make this one haul butt.

howsmydriving @ 01/09, 11:30 AM,

How said they were competing. it would be nice if they were but FORD has not seen fit yet to even hint that they are going to ante-up in the Luxury arena. No real word as to building some version of the much desired MKR, a REAL Mk9 (NOT that redressed blunderbird concept, The 2001 concept was cool, though. ), and something to replace that decrepit Town Car. Why FORD opted to kill hte LS instead of improving it in whatever ways were needed, I will never know.

No FORD needs to grow some and put as much effort into LINCOLN as GM has into CADILLAC before there is any real competition between the two. Heaven forbid that CHRYSLER gets its act together and rallies to becoming the "AMERICAN MERCEDES" they claim they are or want to be.

Anyway, back to the article.

I hope that this SH Caddy is rear drive. Sort of a miniature Fisker.

In fact, i would only consider an audi (obviously) or a BMW over a caddy, and chances are a CTS-V would be next to them.

Well, if Cadillac does get a model like this, since it'll be based on Delta II architecture, it'll be in the same lineage as the Cadillac Cimarron.

Of course, it sounds like GM's doing more to differentiate this car than put a wreath-and-crest on a Volt.

"The Secret Service has unveiled a new state-of-the-art limousine for Barack Obama. A million dollars for this state-art-limousine.
is that "traumatic" e-flex coupe? kidding aside, whats dramatic about this car, apart from the fact that all the batteries made it so heavy that it looks like a low-rider in standard trim? (see the articles pic for reference...)
