SERSteve, the ONLY reason Cadillac does it better is because GM purposely limits what GMC does with the Denali so it won’t steal sales from the Caddy. The Denali uses the same 6.2L V8 but they tuned it down just because GM wanted to keep the most powerful large SUV title for Cadillac.

The ultimate overweight ghetto bling money can buy lol. These trucks are just a total joke. Overpriced unreliable, and tacky. A great combination for the consumer who has some money but no sense for style. ehhh, doesn’t really do it for me, I would rather have the better looking (IMO) tahoe than this. This looks over done and tacky, some may say it is classy but classy to me should look elegant, like the DTS (best looking Caddy right now IMO).

I’ve always been a fan of the Escalade. this one is just more greatness! The interior looks better than ever and I really like the two tone interior. My thought is this, GM has the best selling Luxury SUV in the world. and it makes sense that they’s step it up a little just to keep the line interesting and fresh, much the way BMW keeps spicing up their line-up. This will probably be a limited edition and they will sell every one they can build. Face it guys, they wouldn’t build them if nobody was buying them. So you guys don’t like it, that probably means they got it right! So the dash is a little bland, I bet any of you could hop in it and know just what every button does without ever reading the owners manual. Try that in a BMW or Mercedes Benz! Cadillac knows how to Lux up a suburban/tahoe, and so what if GMC did it first, Cadillac does it better.

pherarey, TOUAREG’s SUCK! I’ve never seen a vehicle with more mechanical problems than that. I’ve worked on them before and the interiors do NOT impress me any more than the escalade. Neither of them impress me, in fact. I hate Cadillac for doing what was originally GMC’s idea back in ’98 and stealing their thunder.

CA36GTP – good point.

I mean, look at the bottom 1/3 of their interior… might as well be from a mid 90′s hyundai. The interior materials look cheap, the fit is loose, and unless you appreciate bland, I’d recommend a touraeg.

I also don’t appreciate how Cadillac is honouring the fact that these vehicles will never see dirt.

How about a H2-esque ‘slade. Snorkel, bash guards, adjustable suspension, winch kit, now we’re talking suv.

All of Cadillac’s interiors need to go to the CTS design team and be completely redone. Throwing shiny bits, Platinum badges, and stupid looking ricer hip-hop wheels on existing crap doesn’t cut it. I don’t understand why Cadillac and Pontiac insist on courting the idiot-black-gangsta-ricer market.

Cadillac’s problem since at least 2004 has been they have cars that look like $100,000 from the outside, and $15,000 from the inside. They fixed the CTS. Time to do the rest.
