The all-important Los Angeles Auto Show is right around the corner, and already word has leaked about a major unveiling to take place with a Cadillac badge on the hood.

The car – already previewed in concept form after debuting at least year’s Detroit Auto Show – will be the production-ready XTS flagship luxury sedan, according to Inside Line.

While the revealing of the XTS should be cause for excitement enough, show-goers and Leftlane readers will also be treated to the first in-person unveiling of Cadillac’s new infotainment system: CUE. This new system blends infotainment, navigation, interior controls and hands-free operations through a touch-screen in the dash, intended to simplify many operations in the car and reduce distracted driving.

As for what will be under the hood, that is anyone’s guess. The concept version of the car featured a hybrid powertrain that utilized a 3.6-liter V6 good for a combined 350 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, but it isn’t clear if Cadillac will offer a hybrid powertrain for the production model, although gas-powered engines are a sure thing.

Look for live photos and updated details on the car live from the show floor in late November.
