General Motors has released another “official” image of a pre-production Chevrolet Camaro . The latest shots show the Camaro from the front three-quarters view. According to the site, “the new Camro is quickly evolving into final form,” although some details — such as the headlights — will likely change before production begins.
GM Chairman Bob Lutz recently announced that Camaro prototypes will no long wear camouflage. Apparently, the camouflage was interfering with the Camaro’s aerodynamics and cooling.
GM released a larger version of the original image, which reveals a bit more detail — including faux vents just in front of the rear wheels and a rear diffuser.
Chevrolet head Ed Peper also said that Camaro prototypes will continue testing in Australia and in the U.S., “so keep those camera phones ready.”
