The Toyota Camry could become the first car to top 450,000 annual sales since the 1978 Chevrolet Impala . According to data from the Power Information Network and Automotive News, there’s a good chance the top-seller could reach the milestone if Toyota ’s manufacturing plants can keep up with demand. Sales of the family sedan gained momentum in March when Toyota rolled out the redesigned 2007 Camry. The car has no incentives, and dealers have a slim ten-day supply. The Camry has been America’s best-selling car every year but one since 1997.
