German tuner Carlsson has put together a tuning program for the Mercedes GL 500. The package features the Carlsson CK50 engine kit, with no less than 435 horsepower at 6000 rpm coupled with 600 Nm of torque at 2800-4800 rpm.
The car also features a C-Tronic electronic suspension system that automatically adjusts to road conditions. It can lower the vehicle’s ride height by as much as 35 mm for a sportier look and feel. On rough road surfaces, the ride height returns to the factory level for increased comfort.
As you might expect, the exterior is fitted with custom wheels and a body kit to help differentiate it from regular GLs. A Carlsson exhaust system improves performance, and custom exhaust tips round out the package. Gallery after the jump…
