Chevrolet has released images of the Euro-spec Aveo 3-door ahead of the hatchback’s Geneva Motor Show debut. Based on the Chevrolet Aveo-5, the 3-door version essentially only eliminates the 5-door’s rear doors. But unlike the Aveo-5, Chevrolet has no plans to sell the 3-door Aveo in the U.S.
The new 3-door Aveo will be powered by a pair of four-cylinder gasoline engines: a 1.2L unit produce 84 horsepower and a 1.4L powerplant outputting 101 horsepower.
The Euro-spec 3-door Aveo will share its interior and exterior styling with the U.S. Chevy Aveo-5.
The 3-door Chevrolet Aveo is lated to hit the European market in June.
