Chevrolet and Mattel's relationship goes back a long way, with the 1967 Camaro being one of just 16 original cars miniaturized by the Hot Wheels brand. This week at SEMA, Chevrolet is returning the favor by showing off a 2013 Camaro with Hot Wheels accents as an optional package.

The package will be available on both V6-powered RS models and the SS V8s, with the Camaro Hot Wheels Edition going on sale early in 2013. Included in the $6,995 package is a ZL1 rear spoiler on coupes, with convertibles getting a ZL1 front upper grille. There is also a unique body kit comprised of the side skirts, front splitter, and rocker panels.

The wheels are black five-spokes with red outline stripes like the die-cast cars from the '60s and are sized at 21 inches. The hood gets a matte graphic while the taillights get a similar shadow treatment. A Hot Wheels logo is in the grille, front quarters, and trunklid. Inside, buyers will get Chevrolet's MyLink touchscreen entertainment system and red and black stitching along with an embroidered Hot Wheels logo on the headrests of the leather seats. The sill plates and door cards get more Hot Wheels Edition flame decals.
