I think an I_ROC would be appropriate to further changes on the muscle car and add a little excitement. By the way, not to dis, but what about the TA? Have you guys heard anything about restyling it?

lots of hope here for the camaro but I just do not see it...I am probably wrong but I think it will still feel and ride crappy just like the rest of the GM cars, no matter how good it looks on the outside.

I have to agree with homeboy234. :-)

The original Solstice Concept was a coupe (which was never produced) and later became a convertible (which was green-lighted about a year or so after being showed) and some small interior and exterior changes happened. Not a lot of changes but some changes to make it into production.

My thought on the Camaro is of course the exterior will remain the same with few changes (mostly for Cost) the interior taking most of the hits. Remember the interior has a lot of crazy parts that most likely won't make it into production.

well Piablo thats the problem with conceptsis that no matter how much the production version stick to the concept its the concept that always emerges the better looking one. take the Jag XK for one the concept and prodcution version look virtually the same but yet its the concept that most people would argue looks better. even though the final production version might look good, it wont get your pulse racing in the same way that the concept car does. its the same with virtually every car with the exception of the murciealgo roadster in which the production model loooks better than the concept car.

Homeboy - What will be different with the production version? The last car with this much hype was the Solstice. By the time it hit the streets, virtually nothing was changed. Headlights and fog lamps got a slight tweak, nothing else really comes to mind.

1487, I currently drive an '06 Pontiac not an import. The only other cars I've owned are Fords. I was actually considering one when they launched, but I have already become bored with the styling, and dropped it off of "MY DREAM LIST" lol.

So you tell me to dream on, that it'll never happen. Well it already did,... dumbass. Maybe you should go watch the lot and get some "ups" and make a commission instead of wasting space on these boards, mkay, thanks.

If they would have played it smart like they did with the G8, I wouldn't have had time to get bored.

Dream on johnnycat, dream on. You and the rest of the import humpers are in for a big surprise when you see the Camaro is still the hottest kid on the block, even in 2009. This car isn't some overhyped import POS, it's the REAL DEAL and America has been waiting for a car like this to come along from GM since the concept was shown in 2004. If you think for a minute that the Camaro's praise has dwindled, you're on another planet. Talk to anyone, I gaurantee that 99% of the them have put the Camaro on top of their wish list and future purchases.

As much as the GM haters want to downplay the Camaro's arrival, you are looking at the hottest car to come along this decade.

This car will be due for a design refresh before it even hits the dealers. Should have gotten the asses in gear long ago. Great looking car, but the wow factor will have worn off for a lot of prospective buyers

Piablo, you're be too optimistic here, try getting the facts before you go posting BS. The Challenger is about to be axed once the Chrysler buyout is final. Cerebus will most likely stop development on these low volume "toys" and concentrate on the core vehicles that are essential to Chryslers survival, if there even will be one. The Camaro will own the segment, there will be no competition as by that time, Ford will be long gone as well.

And Chip Foose putting his name on the Camaro is like Daffy duck putting his name on a cereal box. It'll have no impact on the success of the Camaro. People are already lined up out the door just to get their names on the list.

Not so much with the Dodge pal.

I don't care how long it takes. I will be in line at the dealership if I don't decide on the Challenger. If anyone is "tired" of it already, they probably were not interested much in the first place.

Besides, Chip Foose apparently puts his seal of approval on it... what more can you ask for?!

I love the reincarnation of the 69 camaro,
My dad had one for years which I dreamed of driving as a kid.
I don't mind that it isn't exactly like the 69, especially the 400 hp v8, but I do miss the full grill the hideaway headlight option offered in the 69.
My dad used to get pissed cause I would shut them, and he wouldn't notice until he was driving down the road at night and had to pull over to open them again (the internal mechanism didn't work)
I feel like I can spend some time with my dad again if I buy this car.
It's as good as bought :)
