Images of the road-going 2010 Chevrolet Camaro convertible were leaked online earlier today, and now Leftlane has acquired two images of a model Camaro decked out in GM Performance Parts that will be available when the latest entrant into the pony car segment launches next year.

When the Camaro launches next spring, look for GM Performance to offer:

  • Custom seven-spoke wheels

  • Ground effects kit
  • Duck-tail and high-rise rear spoilers

  • Front grille insert
  • Rear-fascia blackout
  • RS and SS decal packages (RS package shown)
  • That list is likely to expand as the Camaro nears productions, with probable upgrades including a cold air intake, performance exhaust and many others.

    5. The hottest car ever built just got hotter. Take a look at the girlie lookin Challenger and Mustang then take a gander back at this puppy. This is what a real performance machine is supposed to look like.

    9. It is not plainly obvious to anyone else that the first image, that of the cars profile, is PLAINLY photoshop'd which further lends to the questionable credibility of the second. Look at the tint on the first pic… obviously not real. And the red paint is WAY to vibrant.

oh, and JJT… wings are straight. They go in a straight line across the trunk of a car.

    15. wow they successfully riced up what would otherwise be a very nice looking car.

    24. I like the side view pic, but the wing is questionable. Some of the bits and pieces do look like they came from the 80s', but it ain't all bad. I had a blast in the 80s. It's good to have a variety of after market parts to choose from. This will allow buyers to personalize their rides. If you don't like them, don't buy them.

    25. I wonder if the decal packages for the Tata Nano will work on the Camaro? Might be a way for buyers to save some coin for a bigger spoiler or an "I'm Compensating for Something" license plate frame.

lol @JJT and beunos. I like wings, as long as they aren't huge. Anyone see the Whale Tale that is offered on the G6 GXP? That thing is huge!

Comment by Need4SSpeed, posted on March28 at 2:38 pm
    30. Those aren't performance parts, those just make a good looking car look like some dumbass got ahold of it and slapped on every stick on part he could find. How about some REAL performance parts like intakes, exhausts, ECU upgrades, more aggresive cam, you know the stuff that actually makes the car perform better. Oh and don't say that it makes the car have more downforce because of the wing and ground effects, the average driver doesn't drive fast enough to take advantage of any of that.

    33. doublearon21. GMPP will be offerring a full range of performance parts for whichever V8 makes it into the Camaro. Supposedly the LS3 and LSA, from internal mods, superchargers, blowers, exhaust, bolt ons, etc. I just received a copy of their 08 parts catalog and they have alot to offer. Plus the aftermarket industry offers alot as well from name brands so that won't be an issue. You are right in that most wings that are offerred even if they are adjustable, unless you are really actually doing some sort of racing, (not street racing) they are pretty much just for looks.

JJT: lol I guess you didn't like the wing that was on the back of the SRT-4 huh? How's the Enclave holding up?

    35. Buenos, the sides of they wing bend down like limp wrists, so the spoiler is gay. Gay as in "gay" or "ghey."

    38. Sounds like Gm is preparing real well for the release of the Camaro…by the looks of it there will be enough variety for everyone/anyone. Its good to see general taking the initiative for customization options for the new Camaro.

    39. Some will think it's tacky, some will think it's wicked. I like the fact that GM has a little something for everybody. They're attacking this from every angle. Gotta give them credit for that.

    41. I really like those black 7 spoke rims. If only I could get rims like that for my Vette.
It's about time Euro themed wheels became available for a Camaro & HOPEFULLY for the Corvette. I'm tired of those weakass 5 spokes that every Mustang, Camaro, Trans-Am & Corvette have. Although the one's on the Z06 are nice. 1983 has come and gone, seriously…how many variations of 5 spokes could they make which, basically they look the same. Those 7 spokes would look right at home on a Bugatti & I like that.
      It's about friggin' time!
The rest of those "performance" parts look like crap.

    43. I guess the new Camaro is supposed to be an updated version of a 1969 Z28………well GM took a great big swing and missed. A '69 Z28 is probably one of the most beautiful pony cars ever made. It simply has it all…….all the right curves in all the right places.

This version of the Camaro looks like someone stuck an air hose up its ass…..bloated with a seriously fucked up grill with those stupid looking head lights. They are waaaaaaay out of place on this car. Save them for a fucking EVO or Kia.

Dont even get me strarted on the tail lights/rear fascia.
