SEMA 2009: Chevrolet Camaro Synergy concept

11/03/2009, 7:14 PM

By Drew Johnson

Previewing a future color to be available on a limited edition model during the first half of 2010, Chevrolet unmasked the Camaro Synergy concept at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. In addition to the future Camaro color, the concept also features a host of available GM accessories.

General Motors failed to release any more information on the forthcoming limited edition Camaro, but the concept’s Synergy Green paint job will be part of the package. The yet-to-be-named limited edition Camaro will hit Chevrolet dealers during the first half of 2010.

The Camaro Synergy Concept also sports a number of GM accessories. The concept’s 21-inch wheels, ground effects kit, hood stripes and performance air intake can be ordered from Chevrolet dealers now while the car’s high rear wing spoiler will be available soon.

Other features included on the concept but not yet available in Chevy dealerships include a lowered suspension, upgraded Brembo brakes and a color-coordinating interior, but these features could become part of GM’s accessories in the not-too-distant future.

Nice color, though the spoiler kinda makes it look like a rally car instead of a muscle car.

fordman? seriously, a mustang every 3 months? chevy has like 6 variants out. not to mention theres more coming. Your comments are just like need more oils, which leads me to believe you are him with a different screen name.

No one wants to hear your bs. and if it werent for the mustang your precious gm would have its camaro. The mustang has out paced the camaro for many decades. Poor quality led them to quit making them in 2002.
They Had t-top problems, and all kinds of nasty trans problems too.

Had there not been a mustang, there would have never been a camaro, challanger, charher, trans am so on and so on. Just wait man, the camaro wont live long. I give it a good five years before gm goes bankrupt again.

Nice color/wheel combo. Not feeling the spoiler and diffuser with built-in exhaust tips nearly as much though.

I like the body kit… I wonder if Synergy is going to stand for boost, hybrid or juice.

when I saw “synergy” I was totally expecting some hybrid or something, at least with dodge you can’t confuse “plum crazy” paint with a hybrid model

I think its going to be hybrid … since it’s green.
