OK guys this is a limited edition commemorative Corvette ZO6. The big block 427 big block engine is truly legendary. And the Vettes, or Camaros that got the ZL1 were top performing vehicle back in their day. It's also fitting that a 427cid small block 7.0L V8 Corvette ZO6 would carry the honor of celebrating that engine, even though we're talking big-block vs small block. How many of these are you probably going to see on the street? Not many. It's a collectors car. And when the CAFE standards force the Vette to downsize in power and size, there may not be many more production Corvettes with engines as large as these.

If I was a collector and had the $$ I'd have one of these sitting in my temperature controlled fully restored pool barn sitting along side a Shelby GT500KR, Ford GT, and Dodge Viper... lol Hey I can dream can't I??? Oh and let's not forget a fully stocked bar and pool table to go in there too.

Is this more GM SS-whoring again ??

A bunch of badges...and I thought they were REALLY going to stuff a big-block in there.

Has the Disco-Vette returned ?

PS-When the "vette" depreciation keeps up with the supercars...then I'll invest in one.

I dunno, looks pretty nice. Red definitely suits this treatment. If I had the choice (or the wherewithal) I'd go with this for a few thou more. Mommy would want it that way.

Amazing that even with this special edition stuff, it still costs so much less than the supercars it can keep up with.

How did the Syclone have quality issues? I drive a 4.3 powered S10 (granted not with forced induction like the Scyclone) and I've had no problems.

This is one of the more underwhelming limited Corvettes I've seen...I'd rather have a Lingenfelter or something...

The Lightning was the king of the muscle trucks. The Syclone was a beast but it was plagued with quality issues... much respect for that one though. The SRT10 was way overpriced. The Lightning new was about $30k add tune, CAI, and blower pulley and you are in the high 12s for thousands less than the SRT10. I am probably biased though... used to own two of them. :) I got my 01 down into the 12.40s with about $3500 in mods. I miss that truck. :(

This is aimed at that guy from the 70s with the leather Corvette jacket, yellow aviators and giant bushy moustache. Hopefully enough of these guys moms have died recently so they can afford "this model". The one they have been waiting for all these years to replace their '78 Indy Pace car edition vette.

All my life, I've wanted a center arm rest signed by Wil Cooksey, the Corvette assembly plant manager who is retiring after 15 years. If I get this car, I will die happy, knowing that my life is complete.

I've always liked the corvette, but you might as well wait for a ZR1 if you're going to drop that much coin on a vette. I know the ZR1 is more money, but if it were a choice I had to make, I would wait.
