For 2008, a Panel model joins the HHR lineup. Intended mostly for commercial use, the HHR Panel forgoes the standard model's rear side windows.
No matter the model, the HHR offers an impressive amount of interior space. The standard HHR has 57.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the Panel version accepting 62.7 cubic feet of cargo.
Power for the HHR and HHR Panel are sourced from two ECOTEC units -- a standard 2.2L producing 149 horsepower or an optional (on LT models) 2.4L making 172 horsepower.
For those who want more power, an SS model will join the HHR range in 2008, featuring a 260 horsepower turbo-four.
