2009 Chevrolet Impala SS

The Impala SS is the performance version of the Impala and gives the sedan a healthy does excitement.

The SS model forgoes the standard Impala's range of V6s in favor of a 5.3L V8 -- featuring Active Fuel Management -- and produces 303 horsepower.

Other performance upgrades included a sport tuned suspension, a unique rear spoiler, dual exhaust and 18 inch wheels shod in performance tires.

The SS package builds on the Impala's impressive list of standard features and adds such amenities as heated seats and a remote vehicle starter system.
