09Accord, I’m not picking on you because this is a common mistake, so I’m going to help everyone understand the difference between the different homonyms of “there”.

There – location – “Let’s try the beer over there.”

Their – possessive of a plural group – “Their beer was better than ours.”

They’re – contraction of “they are” – “They’re good at making beer.”

09 is right, though, FordMan. Ford has some good product, and they definitely don’t “suck”. You’re just being a poo, and it’s almost as annoying as NMOFGM (but not quite, because your comments are much shorter).

To everyone else, just ignore those guys. They are nothing more than pot stirrers.

Man, everyone is ripping this because this car was developed by Daewoo. I am wondering how many people here realize the platform is based off the Opel Corsa D which was designed by Fiat and Opel. Again as many of the newer GM vehicles this is going to be a global design.

Looks interesting for its class. I wish GM would buck the trend of constantly renaming their vehicles. Yeah the current Aveo isn’t the best car in its class but keeping a nameplate around for several models is a way people can track progress in refinement. Besides, in human nature there is a level of loyalty that should be played upon better by GM. The import brands realized that some time ago. Unfortunately because it is a GM product, several drones on here are just following their programming and bashing it. Sad little drones. No free thought.

drone = blind hatred, drive-by insults, no data, no facts, no support, no references, emotion laden posts, listens to Consumer’s Report, not open to discussion, rarely reads entire story, self deluded, blind support of particular brand and typically distracts from discussion. Drone status seems to always apply to those with screen names beginning in “Need More ____ For”.

other posts = constructive thoughts, open to discussion, can have strong opinions but understands that others can as well, keeps emotions to a minimum in posts, posts are on topic, has the mental capacity of at least a high school graduate, brings new perspective to a discussion and isn’t trying change people to think the way they do with each post.

The Aveo was a good first try, now they are refining it and dialing in the suspension at the Nurburgring. The Viva will destroy the Mini Cooper on and off the track in handling, luxury, and refinement.
