James Brown may have been the hardest working man in show business, but with his passing, it can now be safely said that the title is now best deserved by Chris Brown- or rather, Brown’s publicist. The reputation of the rapper, convicted in the past of felony assault on his then-girlfriend Rhihanna, has taken another hit following reports that he is parking his Range Rover and other exotic cars in handicapped spots.
Most celebrities build lavish garages or rent industrial buildings to house their automotive toys, but Brown has been keeping several cars in his collection, which includes a Bugatti Veyron, in handicapped spots in the parking garage of his West Hollywood, California, building.
Brown’s lawyer claims that the rapper was entitled to a couple extra parking spaces as part of his condo agreement, and that the landlord neglected to inform Brown that they are marked as handicapped spaces.
Several of Brown’s neighbors are preparing to bring the issue to court. It would seem prudent for Brown to simply park the cars somewhere else, if only to give his publicist a break.
