The Chrysler 300 has been a big hit among hip-hop fans and the so-called “urban” market, according to Motor Trend. Customers appreciate its stylish, tough, and high-class appearance, which some describe as Bentley-like. “Its flashy and it looks like its worth a ton of money,” Ron Riccitelli says of his new Chrysler 300C, which he got in a creamy shade called Cool Vanilla. “It just hit me. It looks like a cartoon car in a way, but at the same time it has that luxury feel to it.” Jameel Spencer, who specializing is urban marketing, said, “I feel like Im Sean Combs sitting behind the wheel of this car, and I dont have to take a second mortgage on my home to afford it.” The car has received numerous mentions in rap songs, as well as appearances in music videos from 50 Cent to Snoop Dogg. A voice mail message Snoop left for a Chrysler executive was even “leaked” to the press. “Yo, what up? This is big Snoop Dogg, trying to put these new legs down for this new 300C,” the rapper said. “What I gotta do to get that brand-new 300 up outta you?” At SEMA 2005, a modded Chrysler 300C owned by Snoop Dogg was on display.
