Chrysler has been busy recalling vehicles lately: First, about 25,000 Dodge and Jeep small cars with Toyota-esque CTS-manufactured pedals got the bad news and then an improperly installed wiring harness was to blame for the recall of 285,000 minivans.

Now, the Michigan automaker says that an inner fender liner on Jeep Wranglers can rub against brake lines, thus potentially causing a leak of brake fluid and diminished braking power.

Around 289,000 2006 through 2010 model year Wranglers are on the recall list in the United States, while another 75,000 will be recalled in foreign markets including Canada and Mexico. Chrysler says it will begin contacting owners shortly and that recall repairs will commence later this month.

Wranglers included on the recall were built after May 15, 2006.
