I don’t think many of you actually realize why they are doing this. They are doing this to rid of the old workers and bring more of the youth in. This is brilliant, because they are bringing in young people, who have more fresh ideas, will work for less pay and don’t really need the health benefits and high costs of health care like old people do. The reality, is ring out the old and bring in the new.

So now everyone sees how much the UAW has screwed the US auto business. These factory workers will be offered huge $$$ to leave so the company can return to profitability??? Just sounds sick to me. Toyota, Honda, and Nissan, all NON-union, never got themselves into this nightmare. This is what happens when you watch your stock price before you look at the health of your overall operation. It took many CEO’s brilliant ideas to get the big three into this pickle, and they received huge bonuses themselves for signing on to these legacy deals. We all should be so lucky to get 100k offers from our bosses to leave the company thats swimming in red ink….only in the USA!
