As Leftlane reported earlier, Chrysler tested the waters of multinational badge-engineering by showing a Lancia Delta swathed in Chrysler branding at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The unnamed show car featured a unique grille and badging on the fascias and the wheels but was otherwise identical to the Delta that first bowed at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show.

In fact, it was more than just the car on display that made the Chrysler stand feel rather like a Lancia one. The Detroit automaker’s new, style-oriented marketing scheme is almost identical to Lancia’s European theme.

Chrysler hasn’t said whether the rebadged Delta will actually anchor its Lancia-supplied future lineup.
