Chrysler announced a series of new incentives that, according to the automaker, should provide customers what they really want: Cash back. The rebates are good for up to $4,000 on 2009 vehicles and there’s another $1,000 in owner loyalty rebates and $1,000 in bonus rebates for purchasing a car through certain credit unions.
“Consumers are telling us that the net purchase price of the vehicle is the most important factor right now,” said Chrysler’s Steven Landry, president of North American Sales and Marketing, in a statement released by the automaker.
The credit union rebates apply to those who purchase a car through a credit union that chooses to participate in the “Invest in America” program, which offers low financing rates for approved members.
