On a day that teased us with exciting upcoming offerings from Kia , Porsche and Mini, Chrysler has given us its eleventh factory-customized limited-edition PT Cruiser, dubbed the “Sunset Boulevard Edition.” Unveiled today at the Woodward Dream Cruise, the limited edition PT Cruiser, of which only 500 examples will be made, will wear Sunset Crystal paint, 16 inch chrome wheels and will feature chrome accents inside and out. Under hood is the PT’s base 150 horsepower four-cylinder.
Prices for a Sunset Boulevard Edition with a manual transmission will start at $16,010 with the automatic adding another $825, bringing the sticker to $16,835. Both figures are about a $1,000 premium over the base PT Cruiser. The PT Cruiser hasn’t seen a major redesign since introduction in 2000.
